Our Work
BCFS was hired to develop a winning campaign to pass a qualified initiative while also running a parallel, highly-targeted public affairs effort promoting a legislative solution that could avoid the need for a costly ballot fight.
BCFS developed and executed NO on AB 1228 – Stop the Attack on Local Restaurants – an aggressive public affairs effort that included opinion research, legislative strategy, highly targeted statewide and in-district paid media, earned media, legal and policy research, coalition building and a comprehensive field effort to drive grassroots advocacy.
BCFS was hired by app-based rideshare and delivery companies in 2019 to analyze the feasibility of a statewide ballot measure, help with the design of a measure, and develop and oversee a winning campaign strategy to ensure app-based drivers could continue to be classified as independent contractors.
BCFS was hired to provide strategic counsel and comprehensive, full-service public affairs support to assist dialysis providers and patients by defeating a series of legislative and ballot measures that would threaten access to life-saving dialysis care.
CGA hired BCFS to develop and implement a short-term crisis control and public information campaign to reassure consumers and key political audiences that the supply chain was healthy, there was no need to over buy, and that stores just needed time to catch up with increased demand and restock their shelves in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.
BCFS was hired in 2018 to manage the campaign in opposition to Prop 6 – which would have repealed recently passed gas taxes and vehicle fees dedicated to transportation improvements.
