George Ashford
Account Executive
George is an Account Executive with BCFS Public Affairs. In this role, he designs and executes strategies for high-stakes legislative and regulatory campaigns and ballot measures, assisting with policy research, communications strategy, social media, and coalition building.
Prior to joining BCFS, George co-founded the Student HOMES Coalition, helping pass student housing reforms into California law. He also served as COO for Generation Up, the state’s largest youth-led advocacy organization.
George earned a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) and Public Policy from Claremont McKenna College, where he served as Associate Student Manager of the Rose Institute for State and Local Government. During his summers, he interned at Rep. Jamie Raskin’s DC office, Bipartisan Policy Center Action, and the Niskanen Center.
Besides politics, George loves to ski, backpack, or do anything else that gets him up to the mountains.
