Gillian Bose plays a pivotal role in the development of statewide public affairs and legislative campaigns and creating effective communication strategies. Gillian specializes in policy research, coalition outreach and-management, digital marketing and more.
Gillian started at BCFS as an Account Fellow, and jumped headfirst into supporting the No on AB 1228 legislative battle where she helped coordinate grassroots and field activities, including two successful Sacramento fly-ins involving complex logistics and dozens of coalition allies. Gillian also helped with digital and social media management and campaign communications.
Prior to her role at BCFS, Gillian served as a Congressional Intern in Washington D.C. for Congressman Ami Bera, M.D. During her time on Capitol Hill, Gillian’s responsibilities included legislative research and constituent communications.
Gillian graduated from the University of California Los Angeles, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations.
In her spare time, Gillian enjoys camping in the great outdoors, often visiting the desert sand dunes with her friends and family, as well as taking care of her new puppy.
